Inspired by his love for capturing the Milky Way, Connor created this image with an image of the stars he captured on top of Haleakala on Maui and combined it with surfing at the world famous Waikiki Beach on Oahu, both in Hawai’i.

This is a part of the To The Moon photo series inspired by Connor’s love for space and surf. It was shot when Crypto was booming and Elon Musk & Jeff Bezos announced their ambitions for space exploration. It felt like everyone was going to the moon, but how could we leave surfing behind? Shot in Waikiki Beach, on Oahu Hawai’i, featuring Johnny Van-Hohenstein in the astronaut suit.
